Hi there, is there anyway to add an ‘Accordion Slider’ option to the slider?
My client really wants a the accordion look. I know it may not be responsive. I was thinking of creating 2 sliders, accordion for desktops and a standard for mobile.

Also, how can I add the search tool to the page header?
How can i add css classes to the main navigation? I see on the page/link below, the option is there, but on my control panel I don’t have that option.

    Thanks for a great theme!!

    Hello,

Apologies, but the accordion slider type was phased out of this theme a couple of years ago. You can possibly find some sort of plugin that offers a slider like that to incorporate with the theme.

Also, how can I add the search tool to the page header?

There’s no feature in the theme for this unfortunately and will be a customization you’ll need to make to the theme. For any kind of content you want to hook in, you’d locate the action you want to hook to on the map, and then hook in your custom output function to that hook from your child theme’s functions.php.

Here’s some info on actions in general with WordPress:

And here’s our theme framework’s action map you can utilize:

And here’s how to display a search box in WordPress:

How can i add css classes to the main navigation? I see on the page/link below, the option is there, but on my control panel I don’t have that option.

While under Appearance > Menus in your WP admin, click the “Screen Options” tab in the top right corner. From there you want to check the box to include the CSS-classes field.
