Making CSS customizations like this will require some knowledge of CSS, and so you’re going need to learn a little bit about making these kinds of changes if that’s what you want to do. So when you inspect with Firebug, checkout some of the HTML elements around the slider. Look at all of the classes being used on these various elements. Use these classes as your selectors for your custom CSS.
Have you tried this? What kinds of classes are you seeing? Do any elements you’re clicking on show associated styles over in the right column that you need to override? Specifically anything that has a “color” value?
